Enterprise Application Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Architect to lead the technical vision and strategy within a key application domain.

This role is responsible for shaping architecture direction, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, and mentoring technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have broad architectural oversight, cloud technology exposure, and strong expertise in Java and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate application architecture and roadmaps.
• Design and govern frameworks and platforms for use across technical delivery teams.
• Lead the creation and evolution of application architecture strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Promote architectural best practices and trends across delivery and enterprise architecture teams.
• Establish standards for design leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Evaluate products and solutions within the architectural domain.
• Mentor and guide technical delivery staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Architect.
• Proven experience developing application roadmaps and architecture strategies.
• Strong understanding of Java and APIs (version agnostic).
• Exposure to cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with commercial software products extended through custom development.
• Ability to integrate transactional and analytical systems at scale.
• Strong communication skills for technical and business stakeholder engagement.
• Experience architecting solutions with high performance, availability, reliability, and security.
• Deep understanding of data and system integration patterns.
• Experience managing large-scale initiatives and working in Agile environments.
• Strong conceptual, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with marketing or campaign management platforms.
• Banking industry experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and how architecture integrates with Agile teams.
