Job Description:
The Kemelgor Financial Group of Northwestern Mutual Columbus is looking for a Recruiter challenged with the recruitment efforts of the network office. The process of sourcing, recruiting and selecting financial representatives is conducted and continuously improved by this individual. He or she builds high-level quality relationships in the community, local colleges and in the network office to promote the Northwestern Mutual career, generate referrals and develop centers of influence.
He or she plays a key role in developing recruiting goals and strategies for the network office. Creativity, exceptional communication skills and drive to achieve are critical in this position.
- Execute network office recruiting plan to reach activity & productivity goals with the team
- Build referral source network within the network office
- Develop centers of influence in the community and local colleges
- Develop qualified lead strategies from all sources – referrals, COIs, internet, career fairs, etc.
- Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote Northwestern Mutual
- Master information and language regarding all aspects of the financial representative career and each step of the selection process
- Review resumes and schedule initial interviews
- Conduct pre-screen and initial interviews of all candidates entering the process and administer selection profiles
- Direct all candidates through the selection process and series of interviews with management
- Maintain integrity of the selection process and effectively communicate with candidates
- Report weekly activity to the leadership team
- Coordinate regular (weekly, monthly & quarterly) meetings with the leadership team
- Build and refine the office selection process as needed
- Coordinate monthly meetings with FR’s to discuss potential referral opportunities
- Develop proficiency and use of recruiting software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
- Maintain sufficient inventory of all recruiting materials & supplies needed
- Develop programs/contests as needed to enhance recruiting results
- Provide support to the leadership team for recruiting & selection efforts
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong work ethic, integrity, effective communication skills required with the ability to build rapport and influence others
Salary Range $60-75,000;
