Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee payroll processing for a workforce of approximately 9,500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and mentor direct reports within the payroll team, encouraging growth and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and organizational policies.
- Handle bi-monthly payroll cycles efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations and maintain accurate records.
- Resolve payroll-related issues promptly, providing effective solutions to employees and management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance payroll efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
- Monitor payroll activities daily to identify and address discrepancies or concerns.
- Lead initiatives to improve payroll systems and procedures, ensuring scalability and reliability. Requirements - Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes for large employee groups.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.
- Ability to handle bi-monthly payroll cycles with accuracy and efficiency.
- Expertise in managing payroll for teams exceeding 500 employees.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Strong leadership capabilities to manage and develop a payroll team.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and organizational leaders.
