Environmental Services Associate (Part-Time)
Join Ohio Health's EVS team to maintain cleanliness and support patient care during evening hours (6pm–10pm) at RMH Outlying Buildings.
Job Description SummaryEnvironmental Service Associates dedicate their time to cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, public areas, and service areas. They provide customer service to all visitors and staff while completing tasks that support departmental and organizational processes.
Responsibilities and Duties- 40% – Obtain and complete cleaning or maintenance requests from automated system, daily assignment sheet, or verbal direction. Perform other assigned functions, including moving beds or furniture as required.
- 20% – Follow departmental processes for usage of equipment, keep equipment and items through work order process.
- 10% – Keep assigned carts and areas stocked to appropriate operating levels; provide linen distribution.
- 10% – Complete other duties as assigned, including storeroom maintenance to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- 20% – Demonstrate high level of customer service to patients and all other customers during evening shift.
- No degree or diploma required.
- 1 year housekeeping experience.
- Ability to read and follow directions; strong customer service skills.
Shift: Evening (6pm–10pm)
Scheduled weekly hours: 20 hours
