Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:
Deliver safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments to adult and pediatric oncology patients
Operate Varian linear accelerators including True Beam and Halcyon
Utilize ARIA for treatment management, documentation, and chart checks
Perform patient positioning, beam modification, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and electron field treatments
Assist with dosimetry activities and verify treatment plans
Provide treatment for a broad range of conditions including head & neck, CNS (brain/spinal cord), prostate, benign brain tumors, pediatric cancers, lymphoma, leukemia, pancreatic, kidney, and testicular cancers
Perform advanced procedures such as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), total body irradiation, total skin irradiation, craniospinal treatments, and prophylactic treatments
Support internal treatment data acquisition as needed
Respond to emergency situations using crash cart and defibrillator
Maintain compliance with radiation safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience (5 years preferred)
Active ARRT (T) certification
Active Ohio state license
Current BLS certification
Proven competency with Varian True Beam, Halcyon, and ARIA systems
Required experience with Head & Neck and CNS (brain/spinal cord) cases
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Teaching hospital experience
Vision
RT or OSMS experienceDIBH experience
Pediatric, neonatal, or infant patient experience
Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques
