About DBH and the Role

This position is located at COBH, 2200 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223 and is covered by OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit.

What you’ll do
  • Provide medication education and empowerment to individuals.
  • Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, and response to medication.
  • Monitor patient health including vital signs, treatment plan progress, and activity participation.
  • Serve as a multi-disciplinary team member to create a safe and positive environment through safety and observation rounds and group facilitation.

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit, with a pay range of 10 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. This position is located at COBH, 2200 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing per 4723 Ohio Revised Code and proof of completion of an approved course in medication administration.

Note:

Licensed Practical Nurses who administer dialysis must possess Certification in IV Therapy per 4723.17 Ohio Revised Code.
