CT Technologist

Shift: Day Shift – 5×8 hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Orientation: 80 hours

Float Requirement: Yes (within organization as needed)

A large outpatient imaging center within an academic medical organization is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to support adult and geriatric oncology-focused imaging services. The CT Tech will perform high-quality diagnostic CT examinations using Siemens scanners
, ensure patient safety, and collaborate closely with radiology teams in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

• Perform CT examinations of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system
• Conduct advanced imaging studies including CTA, coronary imaging, calcium scoring, and pulmonary embolism protocols
• Prepare and administer contrast media, including venipuncture and peripheral IV starts
• Perform post-processing techniques such as MPR, MIP, ROI measurement, and 3D rendering
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control precautions
• Accurately document procedures and patient information per departmental guidelines
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to oncology and outpatient populations
• Float to other imaging units within the organization as operationally required

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• State CT license (required)
• Proven experience with Siemens CT equipment (required)
• Strong IV, contrast administration, and patient positioning skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment

• Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and 3D rendering
• ROI measurements
• Vascular CTA procedures
• Radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekends and holidays worked as needed
