Regulatory and Privacy Analyst

What you need to know about this position:

• The Regulatory/Privacy Analyst will assist the Privacy Officer in assuring compliance with federal and state privacy regulations.
• Conducts investigations and audits for potential privacy compliance concerns.
• Maintains privacy investigation documentation.
• Provides consultation on organization policies and procedures and how to comply with state/federal privacy and healthcare compliance regulations.
• Publishing privacy education and awareness materials to workforce members.
• The Regulatory/Privacy Analyst position has an hourly range between $30.33 and $48.42, annualized to $63,086 and $100,714. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This salaried position will require you to work 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday. This position is 100% remote.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or other healthcare-related field or equivalent experience performing the role of Privacy Analyst required.
• Certification in healthcare privacy and security e.g., CHPC, CHC, CIPP/US, CIA required.
• Familiarity with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, breach notification requirements, and state privacy regulations.
• Minimum of one year in a role with patient privacy and/or information security focus.
• Two or more years' privacy, health information management, and/or corporate compliance experience preferred.
