Job Description

Summary:

Accurate, precise, and timely patient test results for the diagnosis and management of human illness. Utilize automation and computerization, and manual methods. Responsible for quality control and instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Handle blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid and other body fluids. Specimens may be contaminated with infectious diseases including HIV and other blood borne pathogens.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School or GED (Required)

Job Description:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or other related field. Registered by ASCP or AMT Certification. Superior customer service skills (please disregard the reference to High School or GED above).
