Clinical Research Assistant

Position offered through The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute (0113). This is a patient‑facing position located at the Wexner Medical Center.
Responsibilities
Assist in support of cardiovascular clinical research studies within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in partnership with the College of Medicine Center for Clinical Research Management.
Duties include:
implementing and coordinating studies, recruiting study participants, performing behavioral or diagnostic testing, and assisting with the collection, maintenance, and reporting of clinical research data.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or a related medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Skills/Experience
• Research experience and knowledge of cardiology
• Experience in phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures for processing biological specimens
• Computer skills with knowledge of database software applications
Position Details

Regular full‑time, 40 hours per week
Shift: First Shift
Position is subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
