The PVL Technologist performs vascular testing procedures (both imaging and non‑imaging), patient education, and quality assessment activities for the Lab;
Serves as a mentor to other sonographers/students to enhance quality;
Assists with ongoing quality assurance/quality improvement initiatives;
Follows imaging protocols and maintains standards for quality;
Maintains current knowledge by participation in CME courses which are relevant to vascular procedures/testing (minimum 30 hours required every three years).
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of an accredited Vascular Sonography program. Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Specialist from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registry within 12 months of hire. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0‑2 years of relevant experience preferred.
