Job Description SummaryThis position operates computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staff radiologists. The position is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner. All duties performed per approved protocol.
Responsibilities and Duties- Obtain patient clinical history for procedure.
- Review lab values and screen patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media.
- Administer oral and IV contrast media.
- Operate CT scanners for a variety of procedures.
- Coordinate workload with other clinical sections and departments.
- Monitor quality in patient care functions.
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- ARRT‑DOH - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License from Ohio Department of Health
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
Job Description
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- OdH Ohio Radiologic License
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
