The Interventional Radiology division encompasses stationary IR equipment located in University Hospital and The James Cancer Hospital.
Position SummaryThe Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.
ResponsibilitiesPerformance of surgical‑interventional imaging procedures; patient education; quality assessment activities; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required.
- Current Radiography ODH license required.
- Previous interventional radiology experience preferred.
- Must obtain ACLS certification in addition to BLS/RQI certification prior to orientation completion.
- Advanced registry in VI preferred.
- Maintains registry & licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements.
- Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
