Tenure faculty (regardless of rank) - persons with the titles of professor, associate professor, assistant professor and instructor who serve on appointments totaling 50% or more service to the university and who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty members tenure initiation unit (TIU) and, as appropriate, regional campus;
obligations will include research, service and/or teaching or clinical practice. These faculty will have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study or possession of equivalent experience.
Faculty Radiology, Translational Biomedical Imaging Research
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center are seeking faculty in translational biomedical imaging research. This position is available at the
Associate Professor or Full Professor level. Senior faculty appointments
require a minimum of 50% salary support from external funding sources.
Position Overview
The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University (OSU) is seeking experienced candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in translational biomedical imaging research at the rank of associate or full professor. Rank and startup package are commensurate with academic record and experience. The OSU College of Medicine and Department of Radiology have made significant commitments towards expanding medical imaging research and are seeking outstanding candidates in the field of neuroimaging who are dedicated to advancing translational research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusive excellence.
He/she/they will contribute to the Departments ambition while upholding the organizations mission and values.
We are specifically seeking candidates with interest in translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience.
Department/Division Overview
The Department of Radiology is rapidly growing, with expanded services at off-site imaging centers, and renovations to our existing clinical spaces and new spaces through the medical center strategic expansion project ($3+ Billion):
Main campus: New construction of a state-of-the-art 830-bed hospital tower, a biomedical research tower, and a Health Sciences building that will house the College of Medicine
Around the city: Construction of 2 newly designed ambulatory care centers in New Albany and Dublin now completed and open in addition to 16 established ambulatory care centers up and running today
