Post Doctoral Researcher to pursue specialized research training, education and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Nisonger Center in the area of community living and participation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Plans, designs and executes qualitative and/or quantitative research projects of considerable scope and complexity in community‑engaged disability research.
• Collects and analyzes data for research sponsored by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and other granting agencies as appropriate to role.
• Identifies and selects problems to be studied in collaboration with colleagues and community advisors.
• Develops and troubleshoots new research techniques and protocols.
• Attends research seminars.
• Contributes to manuscript preparation and supports technical writing.
• Participates in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Doctoral degree in Psychology or a closely related field relevant to intellectual/developmental disabilities required.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
