Description

Growth Consultant is looking for an Interventional Radiology Technician to join our dedicated team in Columbus. This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment, providing critical support in interventional radiology procedures.

As an Interventional Radiology Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting with imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the highest standards of care. This position is ideal for those looking to expand their skills in a collaborative setting where your contributions directly impact patient outcomes.

We offer a competitive hourly salary range of $75 - $78, along with a supportive work environment that emphasizes professional development and continuous learning in the medical field.

Responsibilities
  • Department:
    Interventional Radiology
  • Shift Timings: 06:30 - 16:00 Hours Monday to Friday 10 Hours/4 Days
  • Per week: 40 Hours
  • Experience:

    2 Years
  • Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
  • Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
  • Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
  • Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.
  • Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
