As a Speech‑Language Pathologist at The Learning Spectrum, you will help students with autism and related special needs strengthen their communication, language, and social skills. You’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists to create individualized treatment plans that empower each student to reach their full potential.
What You’ll Need- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Current Ohio licensure in Speech Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA, or actively working toward completion
- Experience supporting students with autism or using Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior analysts, and occupational therapists to support learning and communication
- Provide therapy during school hours within an academic calendar schedule
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with families and interdisciplinary teams
