Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift

Overview

Position located at University Hospitals. Provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory therapy for adults and neonates. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, evaluates the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy, assesses patients to determine appropriate therapy, and communicates recommendations to physicians.

• Provide all types of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures throughout the medical complex for adults and neonates.
• Administer all types of respiratory therapy treatments.
• Evaluate the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy and assess patients to determine appropriate therapy.
• Recommend therapy plans to physicians.

• Minimum
  
  Education Required:
  
  2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in respiratory therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited two- or four-year school of Respiratory Therapy; must comply with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure guidelines.
