Job Description

Office of Child Support (OCS) establishes policies and guidelines for the child support program based on federal and state laws. Ohio’s child support program provides services to help ensure that children receive the financial and medical support they are legally entitled to and deserve. In this position, you provide program direction by assisting and/or relieving the Deputy Director of various administrative duties, as well as act as a liaison between the Deputy Director, Assistant Deputy Directors, Bureau Chiefs, and management staff.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate OCS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Respond to OCS operational programmatic issues and needs of staff.
  • Assist in defining and implementing departmental goals and objectives in relation to goals of agency.
  • Respond to complex and/or confidential correspondence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of OCS internal policies and procedures.
  • Serve as OCS liaison regarding personnel related actions.
  • Manage business functions of the office.

Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
