Job Description

ORGANIZATION & DEPARTMENT:
The Trust Department oversees the safekeeping of investments, performs income and asset reconciliation for the portfolios administered by the office, and monitors collateralization of public deposits. The Trust Department administers the Linked Deposit and Bid Ohio programs. The Trust Department uses an investment book of record system (IBOR) to record, maintain, analyze, and report both investment and collateral positions, collectively (Positions).

The Positions are enriched in the IBOR through multiple external vendors, creating singular and unified security record (Golden Record) with security master data (SMF), issuer hierarchies (Issuers), security and issuer ratings (Ratings), and market pricing (Pricing), collectively (Reference Data). The Golden Record promulgates to other data repositories and systems for analytical and compliance monitoring purposes.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Support design, control, oversight, and management of all IBOR Reference Data. Maintain optimal multi-vendor SMF data strategies to ensure IBOR architecture and structures operate to, and adapt with, TOS requirements; troubleshoot and resolve issues. Work with internal and external partners to establish and oversee Rating and Issuer structures. Analyze, recommend, and load balance multi-Pricing vendor demand across various asset classes. Work with internal and external partners to maintain and control centralized Golden Records ensuring proper distribution to secondary systems and datasets.

Develop and maintain robust IBOR internal business diagrams, mapping, and data structure documentation. Make recommendations to enhance operation and Reference Data composition across datasets and vendors. Assist with training less experienced staff. Review and approve applicable checklists and oversee departmental procedures. Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
