Job Preview
:

As a Senior Budget Analyst in ODM’s Federal Reporting section, you will be responsible for completing the federal report CMS 64/21 quarterly. Your duties will also include:

• Develop and implement cost allocation plans for service-related Medicaid costs
• Analyze and prepare expenditure and revenue data for the submission of the CMS 64/21
• Create cost pool distributions to ensure appropriate methodologies are used and calculations are accurate
• Use cost distribution data to determine cost pool funding and monitor cost distribution and spending patterns for use in operating budget
• Evaluate ODM policy and federal and state legislative changes to determine financial impact

The preferred candidate will pay close attention to detail, possess an ability to utilize a variety of analytical techniques to solve problems, and have a track record of interpreting program policies and determining fiscal impacts.
