As a Senior Budget Analyst in ODM’s Federal Reporting section, you will be responsible for completing the federal report CMS 64/21 quarterly. Your duties will also include:
- Develop and implement cost allocation plans for service-related Medicaid costs
- Analyze and prepare expenditure and revenue data for the submission of the CMS 64/21
- Create cost pool distributions to ensure appropriate methodologies are used and calculations are accurate
- Use cost distribution data to determine cost pool funding and monitor cost distribution and spending patterns for use in operating budget
- Evaluate ODM policy and federal and state legislative changes to determine financial impact
The preferred candidate will pay close attention to detail, possess an ability to utilize a variety of analytical techniques to solve problems, and have a track record of interpreting program policies and determining fiscal impacts.

Qualifications4 yrs. experience in budgeting that included fiscal management & control involving use of quantitative/statistical analysis (e.g., probability statistics, linear regression, multiple variable regression, computer assisted regression analysis models, trend analysis, forecasting cost benefit analysis).
Or completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration; 24 mos. exp. in fiscal management & control involving use…
