Job SummaryThe Fraud Risk Advisor will support the bank's fraud management program by developing and overseeing controls, policies, and risk reporting in line with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. This role will ensure compliance with banking regulations, will contribute to fraud strategy and training, and will collaborate across departments to mitigate financial and reputational risk.
Essential Job Functions- Risk Management - Improve fraud processes, controls, and testing. Assess program effectiveness, maintain risk inventories and documentation, and provide challenge and oversight of remediation.
- (20%) - Delivery - Resolve fraud‑related issues and advise partners on risk mitigation through effective policies, processes, and controls.
- (20%) - Leadership and Collaboration - Lead and enhance the Fraud Risk Management framework. Partner across teams, communicate key issues, support enterprise risk integration, and coordinate audits, exams, and testing.
- (15%) - Policy Governance - Review and challenge fraud‑related policies and procedures. Support exams, manage documentation requests, and assist with regulatory inquiries.
- (15%) - Reporting and Analysis - Analyze fraud risk programs and deliver clear reporting for committees, leaders, regulators, and the Board.
- (15%) - Strategy - Develop and execute strategic plans to strengthen the Fraud Program and support business growth, new products, and control enhancements.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- 8+ years of experience working in risk management, risk and controls, or compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, banking, technology, or risk management or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
- CAMS
-Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. - CFE
-Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. - CRCM
-American Bankers Association. - 10+ years of experience working in risk management, risk and controls, or compliance.

Work EnvironmentNormal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
