This is a full-time, on-site role for a Controller, based at our Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area facility. The Controller will oversee and manage the organization’s financial records, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining effective financial strategies, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and supporting financial decision-making. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership will be required to support business objectives and provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
Qualifications- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Expertise in financial reporting, cost accounting, and compliance with accounting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or similar certification preferred
- Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethics in financial practices
- Self-motivation, leadership ability, and a solution-oriented mindset
