Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a growing national organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support enterprise-wide pricing analysis, margin optimization, and financial planning initiatives. This role partners closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that influence profitability, forecasting accuracy, and long-term growth strategy.

This position blends core FP&A responsibilities with advanced analytical support across pricing, performance tracking, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable working with evolving data sets, and motivated by solving complex business problems through thoughtful financial analysis.

• Support pricing analysis and margin optimization efforts across key business segments.
• Analyze cost structures, revenue trends, and profitability drivers to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Develop recurring reporting and analytical tools to surface risks, trends, and EBITDA impact.
• Partner with commercial leadership to provide financial insights that inform rate and pricing discussions.
• Support financial performance tracking for newly integrated business units or strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain reporting frameworks to evaluate performance against forecasted expectations.
• Assist leadership in assessing margin trends, financial outcomes, and operational impacts.
• Contribute to scalable reporting processes that support continued organizational growth.
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Support forecasting processes within a planning system environment, including scenario analysis and driver-based modeling.
• Partner with Finance leadership to refine forecasting assumptions and improve predictability.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Perform variance analysis and root-cause analysis across financial and operational metrics.
• Build dashboards and analytical tools to improve visibility into business performance.
• Balance structured reporting cadence with ad hoc analytical requests.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with strong budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Experience working within a structured financial planning system required (Adaptive Planning experience preferred).
• Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort working through assumptions and imperfect data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to leadership.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a proactive, positive approach.
