This role will report to AVP supporting P&C Consolidations and Financial Reporting.

The P&C Consolidations and Financial reporting team is responsible for synthesizing P&C results to tell the story of our financial performance. We support P&C Finance and Business leadership, board members, external rating agencies, and more. Our team collaborates closely with CFO teams, actuarial partners, strategy, investments, capital team, EPM&A, and others.

We are seeking a leader who is passionate about understanding and influencing our strategy to enhance financial performance and deliver profitable results. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess a passion for transformation. They should be able to balance the big picture with detailed processes.

Role Details
  • Hybrid role with 2-3 in-office days per week based in Columbus.

This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Vice President/Officer. Manages at team of four or more financial professionals.

Typical Skills and Experiences

Education: Undergraduate studies in finance, economics, accounting or statistics; advanced degree in financial field desired. Technical insurance coursework desirable.

License/Certification/Designation: CPA preferred.

Experience: Typically, ten or more years of relevant experience related to accounting, finance, insurance or administrative business functions, with at least five years of management level experience.
