Billing Analyst

Location: 3100 Easton Square Pl. Columbus, OH 43219

Hours: Standard (8:00 am- 5:00 pm) may be required to adjust work hours as needed

Duration: 3 month contract, potential extensions

The Billing Analyst at Net Jets is responsible for creating accurate, personalized invoices for cabin owners serving as their single point of contact. They research Owner requests, anticipate issues, and ensure all special requirements are met, delivering timely and complete communication. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, advising on account activities, and providing training on products and processes. Additionally, the analyst must understand and explain contractual terms, aviation regulations, and tax implications to enhance the Owner experience.

• Compile flight activity and service documentation to calculate invoice charges and apply adjustments per contracts and policies.
• Prepare and distribute invoices according to billing cycles and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate customer records.
• Act as first point of contact for internal and external account and invoice inquiries; resolve issues and advise on cost-saving opportunities.
• Create and validate customized owner reports, identify trends, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Maintain invoice archives and ensure documentation aligns with company guidelines.
• Make recommendations regarding report findings

• Bachelors in Business Administration or Finance
• 2-4 years experience in billing/ accounting/ finance
• Understand basic invoice practices
• Knowledge of financial analysis, invoice statements and basic accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal and negotiating skills
  
  Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Proficient in analyzing finances to provide advice and make recommendations
• Efficient in operating personal computer and business software (Microsoft Excel)

• Experience with airline charter contract language
