Job Description
Financial Analyst, PN
What You Will Do:
- Analyze and review accounting records and financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Process and reconcile a wide range of Accounts Payable invoices within the financial system
- Generate and analyze financial reports to research, troubleshoot, and resolve payment issues
- Verify and correct financial data by reviewing coding, backup documentation, and mathematical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies and resolve complex payment issues
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with financial data, coding, and compliance requirements
- Technical proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools including a strong skillset in Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication and collaboration skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external customers to resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Associate, 66561.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
NOTE:
Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
