Job SummaryThe Senior Fiduciary Advisor plays a pivotal role in delivering expert fiduciary guidance and strategic wealth planning to Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients (net worth > $25MM) and their beneficiaries. As a senior member of the Family Wealth relationship management team, this individual leads the delivery of complex fiduciary services, ensuring compliance, innovation, and a premier client experience. The Senior Fiduciary Advisor serves as a key relationship steward, trusted advisor, and internal thought leader, driving excellence in fiduciary strategy and execution.
EssentialFunctions
- Provide advanced fiduciary counsel as part of a comprehensive wealth management strategy.
- Navigate complex family dynamics and multigenerational planning needs with discretion and insight.
- Evaluate estate planning documents and legal instruments to ensure alignment with client objectives and evolving laws.
- Deliver strategic alternatives for trust and estate planning, integrating tax, legal, and financial considerations.
- Collaborate with external advisors to coordinate and optimize client outcomes.
- Lead initiatives to expand client relationships and identify new business opportunities across wealth disciplines.
- Recognize and act on opportunities in investment management, trust structuring, lending, and insurance.
- Cultivate loyalty and long-term engagement with clients, beneficiaries, and family office representatives.
- Contribute to pricing strategy and revenue optimization through deep understanding of client complexity.
- Oversee onboarding of new UHNW clients and ensure seamless integration into the Family Wealth platform.
- Serve as the senior fiduciary contact for legacy and high-complexity relationships.
- Lead the development and execution of annual wealth plans in collaboration with internal partners.
- Ensure delivery of a high-touch, personalized client experience that reflects the sophistication of the Family Wealth offering.
- Independently manage complex fiduciary relationships with a disciplined, proactive approach.
- Maintain deep knowledge of state-specific estate and tax laws and their implications for trust administration.
- Stay abreast of changes in fiduciary, tax, and investment law; share insights with internal stakeholders.
- Provide strategic oversight of trust administration and ensure alignment with client goals and fiduciary standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of fiduciary compliance and risk management.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Advise internal partners on fiduciary matters and contribute to the resolution of complex compliance issues.
- Collaborate with the Regional Trust Director and Family Wealth team to continuously enhance service delivery and risk controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Key Bank policies and procedures, including professional conduct and ethical business practices.

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Doctorate Juris Doctorate (JD) (preferred)
- OR equivalent experience (required)
- 10 years of experience in fiduciary advisory, estate planning, or trust administration, with a focus on UHNW clients. (preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in multigenerational wealth planning, complex trust structures, and estate settlement. (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead client relationships, deliver strategic advice, and collaborate across disciplines. (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, beneficiaries, and professional advisors. (preferred)
- Mastery in administering complex fiduciary accounts and interpreting trust instruments with precision and integrity.
