- Obtain notary within 6 months of starting position.
- Obtain Series 65 within 12 months of starting in the position.
- Recommended and encouraged to pursue CFP certification upon completion of Series 65 for those desiring to become a financial advisor.
- Establish new accounts and facilitate account transfers from various custodians.
- Properly process and track account contributions and distributions.
- Interact with clients, colleagues, custodians, and external professional advisors to provide exceptional service.
- Prepare organized and well‑written correspondence to clients, firm members, custodians and other contacts.
- Become a master user of eMoney, Advisor Engine and Orion as appropriate and provide system support to Financial Advisors and their clients.
- Take detailed notes during client meetings to capture important discussion items and action steps; assign actions and launch workflows as appropriate in Advisor Engine.
- Gather, organize and synthesize client data for input into eMoney, reviewing client financial documents such as account statements, insurance documents, tax returns and estate planning documents.
- Effectively prepare financial statements and assist in the creation of comprehensive financial plans under Financial Advisor supervision, both with new clients and existing clients whose information needs to be regularly updated.
- Properly document all client activities, communications, and work.
- Conduct research as appropriate in support of the financial advisor.
- Perform other related duties to support overall team excellence and results.
- Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in financial planning, communications, or business preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of successful work or internship experience required, specifically in customer service, wealth management, accounting, finance, or a related field in a supporting capacity preferred.
- Organized, self‑motivated with initiative and a desire to learn, grow and succeed.
- High level of accuracy and diligence.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and aptitude to learn specialized, industry‑specific software programs.
