Tax Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH 43240
Rate: $23 - $25/hr
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities- Prepare and file annual personal property tax returns for various entities across the firm
- Analyze and submit associated personal property tax bills for payment
- Review and analyze asset listings and lien date transaction data to ensure that assets are properly classified
- File protests with the taxing jurisdiction as needed
- Research, analyze and resolve general ledger account reconciliations
- Ensure that all activities are completed prior to state-imposed deadlines
- Extract property tax data from legacy systems utilizing ad-hoc reporting tools
- Analyze property tax data from legacy systems to identify issues and trends
