• Pass actuarial exams (minimum requirement of one course per year)
• Prepare contribution requirements and accounting costs with some oversight
• Update valuation runs for changes and program provisions from scratch
• Interpret valuation results and provide initial recommendations to lead actuary
• Perform more complicated or review simpler pension benefit calculations
• Mentor and train entry‑level studentsකි
• Draft original materials such as letters, reports, and discussion guides

• 2–3 years of actuarial work experience
• Completion of several actuarial exams
• Reconciliation of liability gains and losses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Power Point

• ASA or EA designations
• Pension experience
• Valuation programming on the Pro Val system
• Basic knowledge of funding methods, including minimum and/or maximum funding calculations

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field

The salary range for U.S. applicants is $70k–$95k annually. Pay will be based on your education, experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data. The range may adjust for geographic location. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus under Aon’s incentive plan.
