Senior Fund Accountant

Senior Accountant (Fund) delivers management and oversight of daily financial operations for client funds, acting as the primary team lead to ensure deadlines are met and client expectations are satisfied.

Responsibilities:

• Review Quilt entries and maintain the general ledger, drafting entries as needed.
• Verify quarterly and annual reporting packages before management approval.
• Approve quarterly and annual financial statements prior to presentation.
• Process capital calls and distributions, securing management sign‑off.
• Coordinate the delivery of capital call and distribution notices to clientsalamat.
• Respond to client investor correspondence regarding inquiries.
• Set deadlines for deliverables in line with client LPA requirements.
• Approve all team wires/transfers after treasury sign‑off.
• Prepare and review waterfall calculations and management fee calculations.
• Assist in developing and training new team members.
• Complete client‑specified or manager‑directed special projects.
• Support new client onboarding processes.

Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Advanced degree (MBA or MSA) strongly preferred.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Investran or other partnership accounting software a plus.
• Strong multitasking, time‑management, attention to detail, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional written and oral communication with clients.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
