We’re looking for an experienced CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER who loves a challenge, understands and appreciates the sense of urgency often required when dealing with a diverse startup client base and the demands of a consulting firm.

Our ideal candidate will LOVE working in a fast‑paced, challenging work environment and be able to handle multiple, competing priorities every day. They will be able to collaborate openly with team members and clients, lean in and solve problems.

The CFO will partner with client executive teams to professionalize their Finance and Accounting functions and ensure long‑term, successful scalability. This will include services across a diverse client base, leading all aspects of financial operations for these organizations. Individual will lead financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, compliance requirements, audit requirements, bank relationship management, optimization of systems and processes, transaction advisory services and much more!

To be successful in this role you MUST be a strategic thinker and be able to lead and guide strategic working sessions with clients that will include dynamic financial modeling in Excel. You will consider yourself an expert in modeling various scenarios, including the projections for revenue and cost that our startup base will encounter as it launches and scales. You will be able to gather information from a variety of resources – both from our client companies, among your peers and through your own independent research.

You will be supported by a team of accounting professionals who manage day‑to‑day accounting operations for multiple client companies, who you will grow and mentor through client engagements.

• Leverage your deep financial expertise to drive strategic, financial and operational solutions for clients
• Develop transformational financial strategy and implement defined financial reporting and forecasting for clients
• Participate with client leadership teams to craft business strategy, operating plans and providing expert advisory services on business opportunities in a variety of industries
• Oversee financial operations as acting CFO to enable achievement of clients’ goals and objectives.
• Assess and anticipate client needs related to financial and investor reporting
• Define and implement scalable financial controls to ensure compliance on all financial functions.
• Build and maintain robust operating and financial models to enable client success
• Develop and provide reporting for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide measurable results for investors
• Advise clients on strategic and operational matters to assist in sustainable growth and mitigate risk factors
• Develop in depth strategies for client funding goals and milestones
• Perform investment analysis for capital expenditures and acquisitions
• Work closely with our team of Controllers, Bookkeepers and Analysts to build strong financial accounting and reporting for clients across multiple industries.
