The Retirement Services Team within the Brokerage Service Network (MSSN) provides comprehensive IRA and retirement account support to financial advisors and branch employees. The team handles inquiries related to retirement accounts and products, contribution and distribution procedures, and retirement‑related tax matters. Team members play a key role in ensuring clients receive accurate information, efficient solutions, and exceptional service.

The Associate Analyst (Junior Level) will support the Retirement Services Team by assisting with data analysis, operational support, and client inquiries. This role is ideal for someone who has completed an internship in finance or banking and is eager to grow within a large financial institution.

• Respond to inquiries from financial advisors and branch employees regarding retirement accounts, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize internal systems and tools to research and resolve account‑related questions efficiently.
• Follow established processes to route requests or escape complex issues for further investigation.
• Support senior analysts with data review, reporting, and documentation.
• Contribute to identifying process improvements that enhance client service quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
• Meet department service goals and performance metrics as established by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Prior internship experience in finance, banking, or a related field is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with financial systems or databases.

• Knowledge of retirement products, IRAs, or brokerage operations (preferred but not required).
• Current or past Series 7 license (a plus, but not required).
• Previous experience in a client support or financial services environment.
