Our Columbus-based client is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead their corporate tax function and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership. You’ll guide compliance, shape strategy, and partner across departments to drive sound financial decisions.

• Oversee and elevate the tax function—lead a small, capable team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant filings across U.S. federal, state, and local levels.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership—translate complex tax concepts into actionable business strategies that support growth and compliance.
• Research and resolve complex tax matters while proactively identifying risks and opportunities across the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, Accounting, HR, Treasury, and Business Development to ensure tax considerations are built into major business decisions.
• Improve and innovate—enhance processes, strengthen controls, and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives and projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive corporate tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• A proactive, organized mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to influence across teams and levels.
