We are seeking multiple Transportation Engineering Interns for our Ohio offices (Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland) for Fall 2026 (Aug–Dec 2026). This full‑time internship is 40 hours per week and offers real‑world project involvement in transportation projects including traffic, roadway, pedestrian facilities, bridges, structures, and transportation planning.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located.

• Work as part of the industry leading Transportation team.
• Gain real‑world experience working on actual projects alongside Licensed Engineers that are experts in their fields.
• Assist on a variety of projects doing such things as analysis, design, plan production and cost estimation.
• Use industry leading applications such as Civil 3D and Open Roads Designer, alongside discipline‑specific programs that aid in design.
• Work as a member of a team that coordinates with other internal teams and external sub‑consultants and clients.
• Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence.

• Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status.
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree or a civil‑adjacent degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function well in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• Exceptional multitasking and time‑management skills.
• Be ready and open to learning.
• Be located in Ohio near one of our offices or be willing to relocate at your own expense as this position requires at least 2 days per week of in‑office time.
