Director of Water Resources & Wastewater Engineering

We are looking for a Director of Water Resources &Wastewater Engineering to join our team. This person would beworking in their Columbus, OH headquarters office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inwater resources, and wastewater engineering, specifically within Central Ohiomunicipalities, including the City of Columbus and surrounding areas. Knowledge of the City of Cincinnati and/or City of Clevelandwould also be a plus.

• Lead the design and management of storm water,drainage systems, flood mitigation, water and wastewatersystems, treatment plants, pipelines, force mains, pump stations, and lift stations.
• Coordinate and oversee technical design work,and overall project management, ensuring both technical and financial success.
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates,schedules, permits, and other necessary documents for bothpreliminary and final designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously,ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop, supervise, train, and mentorengineering teams to ensure projects meet goals and deliverables on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with the financial team for fee proposals, project forecasting, reporting, and timely invoicing.
• Work with CAD design teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive technical drawings for each project.
• Maintain regular communication with clients andteam members to provide updates, address concerns, andensure project milestones are achieved.
• Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and other documentation to clients, stakeholders,and senior management.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field of study.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience, including at least 5 years in project management/team leadership roles.
• Licensed PE in the State of Ohio for 3+ years.
• Experience in designing and managingwater/wastewater systems, storm water management, floodmitigation, drainage design, and treatment plant projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Local project experience with municipalities and agencies such as the City of Columbus, Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD), and surrounding areasis preferred.
