A well‑established, employee‑owned commercial construction manager/general contractor with a strong regional presence across the Midwest and Southeast is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to support complex building projects in the Columbus market.

This role is ideal for an MEP professional who thrives at the intersection of field execution, BIM coordination, and systems performance, and who enjoys leading MEP scopes from preconstruction through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage MEP document control including submittals, shop drawings, change orders, progress photos, and daily reports
  • Lead design and constructability reviews with a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing focus
  • Oversee MEP spatial coordination and BIM assembly using Navisworks or similar platforms
  • Plan and execute the commissioning process for complex MEP systems
  • Lead scheduling, planning, and execution of MEP construction activities
  • Investigate and resolve complex MEP operational and performance issues
  • Procure and manage MEP scopes of work
  • Identify project‑level MEP risks and implement appropriate controls
  • Support company‑wide Zero Injury safety initiatives and quality programs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction with MEP exposure
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Navisworks (or similar BIM coordination tools)
  • ACC and/or Procore
  • Willingness to work non‑traditional hours as project demands require
