Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Process Controls Engineer and/or Senior Instrumentation Engineer to further develop and scale our Annihilator SCWO technology. This role might become more than one position. Working location is Columbus, OH.
Hi-Level Role FramingRevive is transitioning from a single-site operating company to a scalable technology platform; controls architecture and ever-improving automation is central to that evolution. Key words and skill sets:
- Technical lead for automation, instrumentation, and controls
- Safety Instrumented Systems
- E&I&C integration for current and future facilities
- Develop standardized PLC and HMI architecture
- Lead controls strategy for major equipment and blocks
- Oversee and/or program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Develop and improve control narratives and schemes
- Design and implement (improved) process safety functionality including safety interlocks and per missives, safety instrumented systems, alarm management and fault diagnostics.
- Drive uptime improvements through controls optimization
- Develop reusable control modules and documentation standards
- Reduce dependency on third-party integrators
- Analyze failure trends and improve logic robustness
- Work closely with operators to reduce manual intervention
- 7+ years of relevant industrial experience.
- Solid understanding of instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, conductivity, etc.).
- Experience commissioning industrial systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- 12+ years of relevant industrial experience.
- Experience with high-pressure process systems or chemical plants
- Experience with modular skid-based systems and field deployment of process equipment.
- Experience with fabrication, manufacturing, panel building.
- Experience working with small teams and/or in technology scaling and optimization.
- Contribute directly to solving one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.
- Work alongside an agile, mission-driven team combining deep science with practical field engineering.
