Transportation Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Transportation Engineer to join our team in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Support experienced engineers on transportation projects, including preliminary plan creation, CAD design/plan production, cost estimation, geometric design, and drainage design.
• Preparation of highway plans for ODOT and local governments.
• Work as part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportation.
• Develop skills in roadway engineering and technical ability.
• Engage with the transportation industry to identify marketing opportunities and build strategic business development relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Interest in leveraging technology to support engineering efforts and identifying opportunities to streamline plan development efforts with technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of ODOT standards and design practices.
• Knowledge of ORD/ORD Drainage.
• Experience leading design tasks, serving as a roadway design lead.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microstation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
