Job DescriptionThe Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for the Manufacturing & Test Engineering for industrial and mobile robotics. These robots are created for manufacturing and assembly in various industries. Basically they need someone that is going to be strong in one side of this. They either need someone with a Manufacturing or Test Engineering background with general knowledge of both.
Responsibilities- The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for the Manufacturing & Test Engineering for industrial and mobile robotics.
- These robots are created for manufacturing and assembly in various industries.
- Basically they need someone that is going to be strong in one side of this.
- They either need someone with a Manufacturing or Test Engineering background with general knowledge of both.
MUST HAVE:
- 7+ years of experience as a Test, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineer for electromechanical product development and new product introduction
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing environment
- Experience developing functional tests for electromechanical products
- Experience with design for testability for product development
- Experience creating software for production test systems
- Experience with new product introduction including design and process documentation
- Experience with an OEM, robotics is ideal
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques for process set up, cost reduction, and quality improvements
- Experience with Solidworks or Pro E including tool and fixture design
- Experience with FMEA (DFMEA & PFMEA) for new product introduction
- Experience with just in time manufacturing (JIT) or Demand Flow Technology
- Experience with identifying and implementing Continuous Improvement projects
- Experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
- Experience with developing, testing, and manufacturing robotics or other automated equipment
- Strong leadership skills
