CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Aviation Engineer to join our Aviation Team in Columbus, OH
, where you’ll support the planning, design, and enhancement of airside and landside facilities that keep airports operating safely and efficiently. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on critical aviation infrastructure while growing alongside seasoned experts.

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for aviation projects, including airside and landside infrastructure
• Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
• Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices
• Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in aviation design, evaluation, and inspection

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
• No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
• Civil aviation experience preferred
• Construction administration services experience preferred
• Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
• Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
