This role offers a hybrid work arrangement: three days in the office and two days remote.
Responsibilities- Implement project controls tools and methodology.
- Develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices.
- Conduct critical‑path analysis, provide schedule insights and corrective actions.
- Support schedule contingency management and risk identification.
- Provide regular project updates and report deviations from the approved project baseline.
- Support month‑end closing and phase‑gate processes.
- Maintain standardized file locations for all schedule documents.
- Produce look‑ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports.
- Assemble supporting documentation for client requests.
- Analyze data and build reports to support project monitoring and decision making.
- Interface regularly with project management for schedule performance.
- Travel to client offices for project coordination meetings as needed.
- Proficiency using Primavera P6 scheduling software, including resource loading.
- Familiarity with practical application of project controls.
- Seven or more years of project experience.
- Post‑secondary graduate education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interact with project team, clients, and vendors at all levels.
- Strong motivation to learn, develop knowledge, and deliver high‑quality, accurate deliverables.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel and Access.
- Engineering internship, co‑op, or work experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, or earned value performance, preferably within the power industry.
- AACE CST or PMI equivalent.
- Progress toward AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or PMI equivalent 酒
- Equivalent training or proficiency testing passed.
