Key Responsibilities- Verify vendor and subcontractor estimates fall within scope and budget and contain correct items for work.
- Assist processing financial statements to manage overall budgets of projects.
- Gather information to draft, coordinate, submit, and track RFIs for drawing and specification clarification.
- Assist with tracking and reviewing expenses.
- Prepare and assist with submission of weekly, monthly, and yearly reports on work progress, material status, key documents, and other project-related updates for Project Managers and the Executive.
- Assist with projection and modeling, forecasting, and tracking projects.
- Read and process engineering documentation such as plan-view drawings, project specifications, product information, and installation instructions.
- Build relationships with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, and HC Team Members, including on-site PM staff and field staff.
- Translate oral communication and direction into written detail and specifications to create estimatable and budge table systems.
- Perform detailed take-offs to generate material lists for quotes, evaluate quotes against budgets, and assist purchasing.
- Review 3D modeling to ascertain material routes and quantities to build material lists for quoting and analysis.
- Manage documents and ensure timely submission.
- Perform audits to ensure policies are followed.
- Track project issues and open items to remedy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2-year degree in an electrically related curriculum or hands‑on electrical experience is preferred but not required.
- 1–3 years’ experience in electrical contracting, construction, or similar fields preferred.
- 1–3 years of project management experience preferred.
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to integrate multiple-step tasks.
- Organized and capable of managing several tasks or small projects simultaneously.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Software skills:
Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe, and Bluebeam Revu. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet tools, including advanced features and functionalities.
