Transportation Engineer / Project Manager - Columbus, OH - JOB 25-01673

Salary Range: $70K - $130K

Permanent Position with Benefits

Busy Engineering Firm seeks an experienced Transportation Engineer who is able to work on municipal roadways, roundabouts, trails, heavy highway, safety studies, green and complete street designs, and more for ODOT, LPA, and Non-LPA clients across Ohio.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, but not required
• Experience:
  
  2-12 years of experience
• Certifications:
  
  Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

• Conducting detailed research, analyzing data, and preparing plans to support innovative design solutions.
• Performing field reviews to identify opportunities and constraints.
• Collaborating with senior staff to create CAD-generated designs and compelling visual exhibits.
• Providing cost estimates, documentation, and quality checks for project accuracy.
• Making recommendations and demonstrating analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Building professional connections through client meetings and networking.
