We have partnered with a civil engineering firm in the Columbus, OH area to provide them with a Roadway Project Manager Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Roadway Project Manager Engineer:

#1. Must have PE License, licensed in Indiana/Ohio

#4. Must have a valid drivers license.

#5. No more than three jobs in the past 10 years.

Responsibilities of the Roadway Project Manager Engineer:

• Management of Roadway projects including Coordination with client, prime, and sub consultant as a team.
• Design of Roadway projects including horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, drainage design, ditch profile, guardrail calculations and super elevation diagrams.
• Design, manage, and supervise staff on roadway projects. Including
• Supervise the design and prepare plans for various roadway projects.
• Review or assist in preparing CAD drawings using GEOPAK, INROADS, Open Roads and MICROSTATION.
• Supervise staff developing construction plans from engineering design calculations.
• Supervise or perform quantity calculations and cost estimate for projects.
• Supervise/Design and prepare erosion control plans.
• Supervise the design for the preparation of plans for traffic, signals, intersection design, lighting and signing design.
• Supervise the preparation of maintenance of traffic plans for roadway projects.
• Attend various meetings such as field check, public information/involvement, hearing/meetings, and pre-construction.

Requirements of the Roadway Project Manager Engineer:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• PE License, licensed in Indiana/Ohio.
• 10-15 years of experience in roadway design.
• Experience preparing roadway plans for DOT projects.
• Experience with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Possess excellent time management skills.
• Prior project management experience is a plus, but not required.

Other Key Requirements:

• 100% onsite, in-office work
• No sponsor ships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
