We are seeking an Entry‑Level Transportation Engineer to support the design and development of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects
. This role is ideal for an early‑career engineer interested in hands‑on design work, plan production, and collaboration with experienced transportation professionals on projects that serve public agencies and communities. This role is based out of our Columbus, OH office.

• Assist with the design of roadway and highway projects, including horizontal and vertical alignments, typical sections, and grading plans
• Support preparation of construction documents such as plan sets, profiles, cross‑sections, and details
• Perform engineering calculations related to roadway geometry, drainage, pavement design, and quantities
• Assist with development of project specifications, cost estimates, and quantity take‑offs
• Apply state and local DOT design standards, manuals, and specifications to project work
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil/site, drainage, structures, utilities, and survey. Participate in design reviews and incorporate redlines and comments from senior engineers
• Assist with field visits and construction support activities as needed
• Maintain organized project files and documentation in accordance with company standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
• Internship or co‑op experience in roadway or transportation design preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Understanding of basic roadway design principles and civil engineering fundamentals
• Ability to follow established design standards and work under supervision
