Overview

Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager – Jacobs Leading local project teams in Southeast MI to deliver safe, clean water and wastewater solutions. Drives project execution, mentors staff, builds client relationships, and shapes strategy for innovative, sustainable outcomes.

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team; establish long‑term client relationships; pursue new opportunities through strategy development, positioning, and contract negotiation; collaborate across Jacobs’ global delivery network to maximize design, digital technology, and support capabilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated understanding of drinking/wastewater treatment, master planning, conveyance, storage, and related technologies.
• Multi‑discipline design management experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, initiator, with a demonstrated ability to overcome challenges.
• Project management experience for water/wastewater infrastructure study and design projects.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.

• More than 15 years of progressive engineering and project management experience.
• Master’s Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with process mechanical design and willingness to serve as discipline lead as needed.
