This is an entry-level position based in Columbus, OH
, responsible for assisting more experienced staff with the design of major building projects across the United States (projects with construction costs up to $750M). Potential projects come from a wide variety of sectors including healthcare, aviation, industrial, parking structures, and higher education. The structural engineer will work collaboratively with more experienced engineers on large projects while developing the skills to lead/work independently on smaller structural design projects.
- Perform structural analysis and design
- Coordinate work with other design disciplines and prepare contract documents
- Construction administration
- Author structural reports, assessments, and studies
- Develop project management experience such as scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree emphasis on structural studies.
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
