We are looking for a Director of Water Resources & Wastewater Engineering to join our team at our Columbus, OH headquarters office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources and wastewater engineering, specifically within Central Ohio municipalities, including the City of Columbus and surrounding areas. Knowledge of the City of Cincinnati and/or City of Cleveland would also be a plus.

• Lead the design and management of storm water, drainage systems, flood mitigation, water and wastewater systems, treatment plants, pipelines, force mains, pump stations, and lift stations.
• Coordinate and oversee technical design work and overall project management, ensuring technical and financial success.
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, permits, and other necessary documents for both preliminary and final designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Develop, supervise, train, and mentor engineering teams to meet project goals and deliverables on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with the financial team for fee proposals, project forecasting, reporting, and timely invoicing.
• Work with CAD design teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive technical drawings for each project.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and other documentation to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field of study.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience, including at least 5 years in project management or team leadership roles.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio for 3+ years.
• Experience designing and managing water/wastewater systems, storm water management, flood mitigation, drainage design, and treatment plant projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Local project experience with municipalities and agencies (e.g., City of Columbus, Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati) is preferred.
